Bio:
A lifelong competitor with over 25 years of on-field experience, Coach Madalynne Gleis defines herself as a student of the game. Her soccer journey is rooted in a deep, personal passion for the sport—from her first steps on the field at age four to earning a Varsity spot as a freshman at Amelia High School and competing at the premier club level.
Coach Gleis remains an active, high-level competitor today. This "player-first" perspective allows her to bridge the gap between theory and execution, leading her athletes by example and instilling the "Cardinal Touch"—a program standard of technical precision and relentless effort.
Complementing her deep athletic roots is her professional expertise as a specialized educator within the district. After earning her degree from Eastern Kentucky University in Deaf Education with a minor in American Sign Language (ASL), Madalynne became a master of visual communication. She treats the field as an extension of the classroom, using her background in individualized instruction to break down complex tactics into clear, actionable steps for every player.
Through her pillars of Grit, Grace, and the Sisterhood, Coach Gleis is dedicated to building a program where athletic intensity and academic integrity go hand-in-hand. Having balanced elite club soccer with full-time collegiate studies, she is uniquely prepared to mentor the next generation of Colerain student-athletes.
