The 29th group of inductees into the Colerain High School Athletic Hall of Fame will be inducted on Friday, August 29 at halftime of the Colerain – Princeton football game. The Hall of Fame has 173 members including 150 student athletes and 23 coaches, administrators and contributors. #WeAreColerain

Sharon Ahr MacDonald — Sharon is a 1981 graduate.  Competing on Colerain's Gymnastics team, she qualified for the OHSAA State Championships three years in a row from 1979 – 1981 with the team finishing 6^th in the State in 1981.  Individually she finished 15^th in the state in 1980.  Colerain's Gymnastics team won the Hamilton County Suburban League title 3 years in a row and had a 47 – 1 record during that time.  She was also a Varsity Cheerleader and a member of the Track team.  As part of Colerain's 100^th Anniversary Celebration, Sharon was named to the All Century gymnastics team in 2024.

Derek Sheafer — Derek is a 1992 graduate.  He was a three sport athlete competing in golf, basketball and track.  In golf he was a 4 year varsity letter recipient and was captain of the team his junior and senior years.  He was twice named First Team All Conference and the team won back to back league titles his junior and senior seasons.  In basketball he was two year varsity letter recipient and team captain his senior year.  He has the 5^th highest single season scoring average in school history.  In 1992 the team was conference champion and he was the Conference Player of the Year.  He was All City, All Southwest District and All State his senior year.  In Track, he was a 2 year varsity letter recipient and was Conference Champion in the High Jump in 1992.  As part of Colerain's 100^th Anniversary Celebration, Derek was named to the All Century basketball team in 2024.

Michelle Wagner Newman — Michelle is a 1995 graduate.  She was a three sport athlete competing in cross country, soccer and track and earned 10 varsity letters.  She was All League, All City, All District and All Region in cross country finishing 8^th in the region her junior year.  She also received All League, All City and All District recognition in Soccer and Track. She was named Colerain's LaRosa's Athlete of the Year in 1994.  She played a pivotal role in leading Colerain's Cross Country to the state meet from 1992 – 1994.  As a three year varsity starter in soccer, she helped the team achieve a district runner up finish in 1994.  In track she was a league champion in multiple events and advanced to the regional meet in the 4 x 800 meter relay, 1600 and 3200 meter races.  As part of Colerain's 100^th Anniversary Celebration, Michelle was named to the All Century cross country and soccer teams in 2024.

Nick Davis — Nick is a 2004 graduate.  He was a three sport athlete competing in football, basketball and track.  In football, he was the 2003 GMC Defensive Player of the year, 1^st team All City, All Southwest District and All State.  He was Colerain's 2004 LaRosa's Athlete of the Year.  He was also named the 2003 RedZone Defensive Player of the Year and the 2003 Anthony Munoz Defensive Lineman of the Year.  He played in the 2004 East – West All Star game where he was named team captain.  He received the Cardinal Award for both football and basketball.  As part of Colerain's 100^th Anniversary Celebration, Nick was named to the All Century football team in 2024.

Holly Focke Curtis — Holly is a 2007 graduate.  She was a four year Varsity letter recipient in basketball.  She is the all-time leader in assists and holds the single  season assist record.  She is also ranked in the Top 10 in single season and career scoring.  She was a key contributor on the 2005 team that advanced to the Sweet Sixteen.   Holly was recognized extensively for her performance on the court. Her accolades include: First Team All GMC, Cincinnati Enquirer Division I First Team All City, Third Team All Southwest Ohio, Coaches Association All-Star, and District 16 All-Star.  As part of Colerain's 100^th Anniversary Celebration, Holly was named to the All Century basketball team in 2024.

Jake Hammer — Jake is a 2011 graduate. He was a 4 year Varsity letter recipient in wrestling.  He was All GMC for 3 seasons and was a conference champion in 2011.  He was named All City and All Southwest District in 2010 and 2011.  He was a 2 time qualifier to the State Wrestling Tournament.  He had 120 career victories and holds the school record for the most pins in a season.  He was a team captain during his Junior and Senior seasons and was recognized as a Scholar Athlete.  As part of Colerain's 100^th Anniversary Celebration, Jake was named to the All Century wrestling team in 2024.

Debbie Potzner — Debbie was Colerain's Bowling coach from 2007 – 2020.  The Girls team was GMC Champion in 2011 and 2014 and Sectional Champion in 2011, 2013 and 2014.  She was named GMC Coach of the Year in 2014.  The team won the Baker Bash Tournament and the BearCat Classic Tournament in 2013 and 2014.    The Boys team was GMC Champion in 2016.  The team won the Lancer Baker Bash and the Holiday Tournament in 2015.  The team also was a District qualifier in 2014 and 2015 and finished 4^th at the State Bowling Tournament in 2015.  She was named GMC Coach of the Year and Greater Cincinnati Coach of the Year in 2016.  As part of Colerain's 100^th Anniversary Celebration, Debbie was recognized as the bowling program's All Century coach in 2024.
